  The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) has approved revised generation rates for residential and business customers taking Standard Service generation from The Connecticut Light & Power Company (CL&P) and the United Illuminating Company (UI).

  Launched in July of 2013, the PaintCare Program in Connecticut, the third program of its kind in the nation, has been a budding success. In the first year, PaintCare has already collected more than 240,000 gallons of leftover paint.
