  The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s Environmental Conservation Police and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are asking the public for information about a bald eagle that was shot in Rocky Hill.

  For the angler who enjoys winter fishing, Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Inland Fisheries Division has begun stocking approximately 400 broodstock Seeforellen strain Brown Trout in selected waters throughout the state.

  Connecticut's Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) today issued a final ruling that reduces by approximately $101.9 million a $231.6 million revenue increase request filed by CL&P in June 2014.

  Although it may be cold outside, Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) announced today that the Friends of Dinosaur State Park, Rocky Hill will sponsor “The Wild Inside,” a series of indoor programs for families during December’s school vacation week.

  The three state agencies working on plans to develop a new state park at the former Seaside Sanatorium in Waterford, will hold a public information session on Monday, December 15 at 7 p.m. in the Waterford Town Hall auditorium, 15 Rope Ferry Road, Waterford to introduce the team that will be working with the community and the region on this project and to hear comments on it.
