7/2/2013CT DEEP Highlights State Park Recreational Activities in Advance of Traditional Memorial Day Opening
  The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) today announced that all state parks and forests are open for the traditional Memorial Day weekend’s start to the summer season with many new features in place.
5/30/2012Celebrate the Year of the Lizard at Kellogg Environmental Center, Derby
  This year has been designated as the “Year of the Lizard” by Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation. In conjunction with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection’s Wildlife Division a program on reptiles, including lizards, is scheduled on June 16 at 10:30 am.
