Jodi Rell today announced that the state will use $1.2 million in federal stimulus funds to support six regional energy projects that will help municipalities reduce energy costs, promote use of alternative and renewable fuel sources and provide education and job training in energy technology.

  The victim of Gay City State Park’s swimming incident, Nathaniel Rodriguez, was pronounced dead at 12:30 a.m. on May 24, 2010 at Manchester Memorial Hospital, Manchester, CT. Mr. Rodriguez resided in New Britain and was 19 years old.
