  The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection today announced that the 2010 editions of the Connecticut Angler’s Guide and the Connecticut Hunting and Trapping Guide are now available online on the agency’s web site.

  The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the University of Connecticut Center for Land Use Education and Research (CLEAR) today launched a new website, Connecticut Environmental Conditions Online (CT ECO) that includes the latest and most accessible online maps and tools for viewing Connecticut’s environmental and natural resource information.

  The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) today announced that all of its administrative offices and state park museums will be closed on Thursday, December 24, 2009 and Friday, December 25, 2009 as a result of a state furlough day on Thursday and the celebration of Christmas on Friday.

  Two settlements were recently entered into Federal Court that will provide the funding to perform ongoing work at the Old Southington Landfill Superfund Site in Southington, Conn. to protect people from groundwater contamination The settlement was agreed to by EPA, the U.S. Department of Justice, the State of Connecticut and numerous settling parties.
