  The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), in corrdination with other state agencies, local fire departments and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), transported several pallets of a powdered peroxide material from a factory in Seymour to a gravel pit in Naugatuck State Forest Friday night where it was destroyed in a controlled burn.
