12/13/2013Commercial Fishery Possession Limits
  Effective 0001 hours, Monday, December 16, 2013, the possession limit for the commercial harvest of summer flounder will be increased to 800 pounds to allow for full utilization of Connecticut's commercial summer flounder quota. (N13-25)

  Effective 0001 hours, Monday, December 16, 2013, the possession limit for the commercial harvest of summer flounder will be 500 pounds. (N13-23)

  Effective 0001 hours, Saturday, November 23, 2013, the Connecticut possession limit for the commercial harvest of black sea bass is reduced to zero pounds for all gear types. (N13-21)

  Effective 0001 hours, Saturday, November 9, 2013, the Connecticut possession limit for the commercial harvest of black sea bass is reduced to 50 pounds for all gear types other than lobster pots which remain closed until November 29. (N13-20)

  This notice serves as a reminder of the upcoming fall season closure required under Addendum XVII to the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission's American Lobster Fishery Management Plan. (N13-14)

  Effective 0001 hours, Wednesday, July 31, 2013, the Connecticut possession limit for the commercial harvest of black sea bass is reduced to zero pounds for all gear types including lobster pots. Effective 0001 hours, Thursday, August 1, 2013, the Connecticut possession limit for the commercial harvest of scup is reduced to 100 pounds for all gears except lobster pots. The limit remains 10 fish for lobster pots. (N13-13)
