Welcome to the Provider Orientation Process

 
Level 1
 
The Autism Level 1 Orientation is for all personnel working in the Autism program who have not attended a training session or who have attended but did not pass the assessment portion.
 
Participants must view the four part video series “Orientation Training Level I” prior to attending the session and bring with them to the training the following handouts:
  1. Level 1 PowerPoint handout (PDF, 266 KB)
  2. 10 Things Every Child with Autism Wishes You Knew (PDF, 182 KB)

Linda Grimm, Director of the Benhaven Learning Center will facilitate the training session which will include:
  • A discussion on any areas that were unclear in the DVD and PowerPoint handouts
  • Discussion on any areas that you need more information on to provide supports to individuals on the autism spectrum
  • To share strategies that you have found successful
  • A brief question and answer knowledge based assessment will be administered
Please keep in mind only those registered will be admitted.

Level II
 
The Autism Level II training is for all personnel working in the program who have attended Level I Training and passed the assessment portion. 
 
Participants must view the four part video series “Orientation Training Level II” prior to attending the session and bring with them to the training the following handouts:
