Medical Marijuana Dispensary License

 
Purpose:
 
This license is for individuals who are qualified to acquire, possess, distribute and dispense marijuana.  No person shall act as a dispensary without a license issued by the Department of Consumer Protection.
 

 

Prerequisites:  

  • You must have an active pharmacist license in good standing issued by the Department of Consumer Protection

  • You must have a position with a Medical Marijuana Dispensary Facility (MMDF) that has been awarded a license by the Department.

 

Required Documentation:

  • Complete all sections of the online application
  • Applicants should be prepared to provide information/documentation for the following:
    • Personal Information
    • Most Recent Employment Information
    • Dispensary Facility Information
    • Licenses, Permits and Registrations
    • Professional History
    • Criminal Actions
    • Photo Identifications (passport-sized photograph and copy of a valid government- issued ID)
  • The dispensary facility owner must provide this office with documentation confirming your affiliation with the facility.
The Department may request additional information as necessary

To access the online system, please visit https://www.elicense.ct.gov/ .   Click “Register” in the top right corner of the screen to create an account, and validate an active email address. To access the online application, click “New Application” under Activities.

Application Fee:
All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Initial Application Fee - $100 
  • Annual Renewal Registration - $100
