Many communities and organizations, including the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority, are offering free paper shredding around the state in upcoming weeks.

 

Bring your boxes of old papers, canceled checks, bills, records and other materials -- especially those that could enable someone to steal your identity -- to the event closest to your town of residence. Your papers will be safely shredded and recycled, conserving natural resources and protecting your identity.
