DCP: Travel Agents

Travel Agents

Connecticut law does not require travel agents to be licensed. The American Society of Travel Agents is a private agency that can check out agencies for complaints if the agency is a member. While there is no licensing of travel agents or agencies, they must comply with the Federal Trade Commission regulations.

You may check with the American Society of Travel Agents to find out about the complaint history of a travel agency before you book travel or make a reservation.
