Free Educational Assessments

April 7, 2013

Coventry, CT

On Sunday, April 7, 2013, the University of St. Joseph will be offering free educational assessments for children with specific learning disabilities in grades 1-12. The assessments will take place at Captain Nathan Hale Middle School in Coventry, Connecticut.

Graduate candidates will administer a series of assessments to children under the supervision of faculty and will generate instructional recommendations for consideration in the areas of reading, writing, and math.

Parents will be provided with an assessment report and will be invited to participate in an individualized conference where findings and recommendations will be reviewed.

Please note that this process is being conducted in order to provide a clinical experience for graduate students. Therefore, these assessment reports and recommendations are not for your child’s school district and the school district is not obligated to incorporate the findings into his/her educational program.
