CANY Learning Session 4

TRAINERS:  Creative Alternatives of New York (CANY) staff and Dr. Robert Franks, Trauma Consultant

AUDIENCE:  Agency staff who provide community-based Behavioral Health Services, in particular Extended Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient Programs.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:  Dr. Robert Franks, Trauma Consultant, will join a team of CANY trainers to talk about drama therapy as a safe and effective way of working with complex trauma as well as provide concrete information about the Learning Collaborative training that will commence in the fall of 2012.  There will be opportunities to experience drama therapy in action through a series of interactive activities, providing an introduction to the learning experiences to come!  There will also be time given for questions and answers regarding schedule commitment requirements and how to get involved.
