"The ACADEMY" has upgraded to an online registration system for DCF providers, foster and adoptive families and anyone else who wishes to attend an Academy course. This new online system is very easy to utilize.

"Registration Process" for Providers, Families, Youth and All Others
Step 1: Create a "Log in Profile/User ID" and a password. (Select "Guest" for a user category) NOTE: You will only need to create a log-in and user ID just once; the first time you register for a course. Please write down your user ID and Password and store in a safe place.
Step 2: Register for the class you wish to attend utilizing the course calendar.

Step 1: Create a "Log in Profile/User ID" and a password. (Select "Guest" for a user category) NOTE: You will only need to create a log-in and user ID just once; the first time you register for a course. Please write down your user ID and Password and store in a safe place.
Step 2: Register for the class you wish to attend utilizing the course calendar.
Step 3: Complete this Training Academy registration form (NOTE: this step is necessary, in order to receive LMS credits)
Step 4: Have your supervisor sign the registration form;
Step 5: Fax completed and signed form to 860-550-6362

Indepth instructions, in case you are having trouble...
NOTE: If this is your first time registering for a DCF University Course, you will first need to create a log in profile for yourself. Write down your "User ID" and "Password" and store in a safe place.
Only one person can be registered per e-mail address. The automated registration system is tied to each registered individual's personal IP address.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE E-MAIL ADDRESS YOU ENTER IS A COMPETE AND PROPER E-MAIL ADDRESS, OR YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY CONFIRMATION.
It's easy to register, just utilize the
button at the bottom of the selected course page, or at the bottom of each page and follow the instructions. (Select "Guest" for the user category)
Once you have registered, all you will need to do is to "Log In" by using the
button.
Due to the limited amount of space available in most classes, requests will be accepted in the order in which they are received and a number of slots available will be shown on the course description page.
You will receive an automated e-mail confirmation once you have been accepted into the course.
Unfortunately, when the course is full, the system will not allow any additional registrants and those individuals who did not receive a confirmation will be placed on a "waiting list" for the next time the course is offered.
Only those individuals receiving am email confirmation will be admitted to the class. Most classes will be offered at least once every three months, so please check back for additional course dates.
Please be sure to pay close attention to the location and time of your training to ensure your timely arrival. You must bring your photo ID with you on the date of training in order for security to grant you access into the building.
