Connecticut House of Representatives Passes Juvenile Justice Proposal  

On May 26, 2015 the Connecticut House of Representatives passed an amended version of the Commission's juvenile justice recommendation to the Judiciary Committee (S.B. 796). The House added a minor amendment which made changes to the factors the court must consider when sentencing a minor as an adult and transmitted the bill to the Senate for immediate consideration. You can track the status of the proposed legislation on the Connecticut General Assembly website by clicking here.
