The Connecticut Sentencing Commission welcomes its newest members, Robert Farr, Esq. and Chief Thomas Kulhawik.
The Connecticut Sentencing Commission welcomes two new members: Robert Farr, Esq. and Chief Thomas Kulhawik. Attorney Farr joins the Commission as a voting member appointed by State House Minority Leader Themis Klarides. Attorney Farr is a former chairperson of the Connecticut Board of Pardons and Paroles as well as a former state representative. Chief Kulhawik joins the Commission as a voting member appointed by State Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff. Kulhawik currently serves as chief of police for the city of Norwalk.
The Commission would also like to express a special thanks to Dr. Susan E. Pease and Mr. Peter M. Gioia. As the Dean of Central Connecticut State University's Carol A. Ammon College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, Dr. Pease played a vital role in the work of the Commission and the development of its research committee. As a business man and economist, Mr. Gioia brought a unique and valuable perspective to the Commission and was instrumental in its progress.
