SUPER STORM SANDY SOCIAL SERVICES
BLOCK GRANT SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDS


The Connecticut Department of Social Services has been awarded $10.5 million in federal funding under the Social Services Block Grant to cover certain expenses resulting from Super Storm Sandy.  Specifically, the funds are to be used by eligible non-profit organizations and municipalities for a range of social, health and mental health services for individuals, and for repair, renovation and rebuilding of health care facilities, child care facilities and other social services facilities.

The period to submit applications has ended. A list of the service providers, who were awarded the grants, will be available on this page soon.
