2022 October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Since 2004, the President of the United States and Congress have declared October to be Cybersecurity Awareness Month, helping individuals protect themselves online as threats to technology and confidential data become more commonplace.  Governor Lamont recognizes the importance of cybersecurity and expresses his support through the linked 'Official Statement’ proclaiming the month of October to be CyberSecurity Awareness Month in the State of Connecticut.

Many resources are available to ensure you can stay safe and more secure online.  The Stop. Think. Connect campaign aids in increasing the understanding of cyber threats.  Cybersecurity isn’t just an IT concern; everyone has a part to ensure they are safer online.
