RE: DOCKET NO. 409A - New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for the construction, maintenance and operation of a telecommunications facility located at 8 Barnes Road, Canaan (Falls Village), Connecticut. Reopening of this docket pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes § 4-181a(b) limited to Council consideration of changed conditions, revised tower site location and modified facility.
During the evidentiary hearing for the above-referenced docket held on April 30, 2013, the Connecticut Siting Council (Council) voted on the following motions:
1. Canaan Inland Wetlands and Conservation Commission (IWCC) Motion to Share Duties dated April 30, 2013. The IWCC Motion to Share Duties was granted.
2. Marc Rosen and Susan Pinsky Request for Party Status dated April 21, 2013. Marc Rosen and Susan Pinsky’s Request for Party Status was granted.
The Council shall continue the evidentiary hearing for this proceeding on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Central Connecticut State University, Institute of Technology and Business Development, Room 322, 185 Main Street, New Britain, Connecticut, beginning at 11 AM.
The hearing shall commence with the appearance of the Canaan Inland Wetlands and Conservation Commission to be followed by the appearance of other parties and intervenors in accordance with the order of appearances on the April 30, 2013 hearing program.
The Council requests that any additional interrogatories be submitted to the applicant, parties and intervenors by the close of business on or before May 7, 2013. Responses to additional interrogatories are to be submitted by the close of business on or before May 14, 2013.
