RE: PETITION NO. 1310 - Quinebaug Solar, LLC petition for a declaratory ruling that no Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need is required for the proposed construction, maintenance and operation of a 50 megawatt AC solar photovoltaic electric generating facility on approximately 561 acres comprised of 29 separate and abutting privately-owned parcels located generally north of Wauregan Road in Canterbury, Connecticut and south of Rukstela Road and Allen Hill Road in Brooklyn, Connecticut.
1. Requests/Motions – Troy and Meghan Sposato’s Request for Party Status
During the evidentirary hearing session held by the Connecticut Siting Council (Council) on September 19, 2017, the Council granted Troy and Meghan Sposato’s Request for Party Status.
2. Continuation of the Evidentiary Hearing
The Council shall continue the evidentiary hearing for the above-referenced proceeding on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in Hearing Room One, Ten Franklin Square, New Britain, Connecticut, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The hearing shall commence with the continued cross examination of the petitioner by the Council to be followed by cross examination of the petitioner by the parties and intervenors in the order listed on the September 19, 2017 hearing program.
To save the time and expense of the parties, intervenors and the public, and to conclude this proceeding in a timely fashion, the Council requests that all parties and intervenors submit additional interrogatories to the petitioner and other parties and intervenors on or before October 3, 2017. Interrogatory responses and additional pre-filed testimony, as well as any supplemental information requested from the petitioner during the September 19, 2017 hearing, should be submitted to the Council on or before October 10, 2017.
