Please note, the Connecticut Siting Council (Council) is not required to maintain an online data base of Pending Matters.  Due to a high volume of filings, the Council may not be able to keep the information found on these sites up to date.  For complete Pending Matter information, please contact the Council's staff or feel free to view the hard copy of the pertinent file in the Council’s office.  The Council endeavors to keep information up to date for the convenience of the public.

 
The Council's preferred method of service to participants in a matter is via electronic mail.  If a participant prefers to receive hard copies of documents via regular mail, please notify the Council in writing.

DOCKET NO. 474 - The Connecticut Light & Power Company d/b/a Eversource Energy application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for the Greater Hartford-Central Connecticut Reliability Project that traverses the municipalities of Hartford, West Hartford, and Newington, which consists of (a) construction, maintenance and operation of a new 115-kilovolt (kV) electric transmission line within existing Eversource, Amtrak and public road rights-of-way and associated facilities extending overhead approximately 2.4 miles and underground approximately 1.3 miles between Eversource’s existing Newington Substation in the Town of Newington and existing Southwest Hartford Substation in the City of Hartford; (b) modifications to a .01 mile section within existing Eversource right-of-way of the existing overhead 115-kV electric transmission line connection to the Newington Substation (Newington Tap); and (c) related modifications to Newington Substation and Southwest Hartford Substation.

PETITION NO. 1323 – Windham Solar LLC petition for a declaratory ruling that no Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need is required for the proposed construction, maintenance and operation of three 2.0 Megawatt AC and two 1.0 Megawatt AC solar photovoltaic electric generating facilities on an approximate 43 acre parcel located at 134 Bilton Road, Somers, Connecticut.

PETITION NO. 1325 - The Connecticut Light and Power Company d/b/a Eversource Energy petition for a declaratory ruling that no Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need is required for proposed modifications to an existing telecommunications facility on electric transmission line structure No. 9950, owned by Eversource Energy within an existing Eversource Energy electric transmission line right-of-way, located at the Birchwood Condominium Complex, 27 Crows Nest Lane, Danbury, Connecticut.

PETITION NO. 1328 – Windham Solar LLC petition for a declaratory ruling, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes §4-176 and §16-50k, for the proposed construction, maintenance and operation of one 1-megawatt (MW) and one .99-MW solar photovoltaic electric generating facilities located at 481 Mashamoquet Road, Pomfret, Connecticut.


PETITION NO. 1337 - The Connecticut Light and Power Company d/b/a Eversource Energy petition for a declaratory ruling, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes §4-176 and §16-50k, for the proposed Stepstone to Green Hill Substation Upgrade Project that includes replacement of approximately 5.6 miles of its existing No. 1508 115-kilovolt (kV) electric transmission line structures within existing Eversource electric transmission line right of way between Stepstone Substation located at 50 Stepstone Road, Guilford, Connecticut and Green Hill Substation located at 775 Green Hill Road, Madison, Connecticut, and related electric transmission line structure improvements.


PETITION NO. 1338 - Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless petition for a declaratory ruling, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes §4-176 and §16-50k, for the proposed installation of a wireless telecommunications facility on the roof of an existing commercial building located at 150 Danbury Road, Ridgefield, Connecticut.

 

PETITION NO. 1339 – Wallingford Renewable Energy LLC petition for a declaratory ruling, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes §4-176 and §16-50k, for the proposed construction, maintenance and operation of a 19.99 MW AC ground-mounted solar photovoltaic electric generating facility located on approximately 158 acres of 3 contiguous parcels consisting of the former Wallingford Landfill and 2 parcels owned by the Materials Innovation and Recycling Authority west of Pent Road and associated electrical interconnection to Wallingford Electric Division’s Wallingford Substation in Wallingford, Connecticut.

 

PETITION NO. 622A T-Mobile Northeast LLC (T-Mobile) request to amend its declaratory ruling pursuant to Connecticut General Statues §4-176 and §16-50k for the proposed relocation of an existing T-Mobile facility attached to an Eversource electric transmission line structure (#826) onto an approved replacement electric transmission line structure (#826) within the existing Eversource right-of-way located at 1975 Huntington Road, Stratford, Connecticut.

DOCKET NO. 461A - Eversource Energy application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for the construction, maintenance, and operation of a 115-kilovolt (kV) bulk substation located at 290 Railroad Avenue, Greenwich, Connecticut, and two 115-kV transmission circuits extending approximately 2.3 miles between the proposed substation and the existing Cos Cob Substation, Greenwich, Connecticut, and related substation improvements. Reopening of this docket based on changed conditions pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes §4-181a(b).

PETITION NO. 1312 - Candlewood Solar LLC petition for a declaratory ruling that no Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need is required for the proposed construction, maintenance and operation of a 20 megawatt AC (26.5 megawatt DC) solar photovoltaic electric generating facility located on a 163 acre parcel at 197 Candlewood Mountain Road and associated electrical interconnection to Eversource Energy’s Rocky River Substation on Kent Road in New Milford, Connecticut.
