Please note, the Connecticut Siting Council (Council) is not required to maintain an online data base of Pending Matters.  Due to a high volume of filings, the Council may not be able to keep the information found on these sites up to date.  For complete Pending Matter information, please contact the Council's staff or feel free to view the hard copy of the pertinent file in the Council’s office.  The Council endeavors to keep information up to date for the convenience of the public.

 
The Council's preferred method of service to participants in a matter is via electronic mail.  If a participant prefers to receive hard copies of documents via regular mail, please notify the Council in writing.

DOCKET NO. 461A - Eversource Energy application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for the construction, maintenance, and operation of a 115-kilovolt (kV) bulk substation located at 290 Railroad Avenue, Greenwich, Connecticut, and two 115-kV transmission circuits extending approximately 2.3 miles between the proposed substation and the existing Cos Cob Substation, Greenwich, Connecticut, and related substation improvements. Reopening of this docket based on changed conditions pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes §4-181a(b).

DOCKET NO. 471 - Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for the construction, maintenance, and operation of a telecommunications facility located at Hamden Tax Assessor’s Map 2826, Block 24, 208 Kirk Road (a/k/a 1075 Paradise Avenue), Hamden, Connecticut.


 

DOCKET NO. 474 - The Connecticut Light & Power Company d/b/a Eversource Energy application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for the Greater Hartford-Central Connecticut Reliability Project that traverses the municipalities of Hartford, West Hartford, and Newington, which consists of (a) construction, maintenance and operation of a new 115-kilovolt (kV) electric transmission line within existing Eversource, Amtrak and public road rights-of-way and associated facilities extending overhead approximately 2.4 miles and underground approximately 1.3 miles between Eversource’s existing Newington Substation in the Town of Newington and existing Southwest Hartford Substation in the City of Hartford; (b) modifications to a .01 mile section within existing Eversource right-of-way of the existing overhead 115-kV electric transmission line connection to the Newington Substation (Newington Tap); and (c) related modifications to Newington Substation and Southwest Hartford Substation.

DOCKET NO. 483 - The United Illuminating Company application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for the Pequonnock Substation Rebuild Project that entails construction, maintenance, and operation of a 115/13.8-kilovolt (kV) gas insulated replacement substation facility located 700 feet southwest of UI’s existing Pequonnock substation on an approximately 3.7 acre parcel owned by PSEG Power Connecticut, LLC at 1 Kiefer Street, Bridgeport, Connecticut, and related transmission structure and interconnection improvements.

DOCKET NO. 484 - Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for the construction, maintenance, and operation of a telecommunications facility at one of three locations at 72 Ragged Hill Road, Pomfret, Connecticut.

PETITION NO. 1184 - Beacon Falls Energy Park, LLC petition for a declaratory ruling that no Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need is required for the proposed construction, operation, and maintenance of a 63.3 Megawatt AC fuel cell facility located on Lopus Road, Beacon Falls, Connecticut. 

PETITION NO. 1195 - SolarCity Corporation petition for a declaratory ruling that no Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need is required for the proposed construction and operation of a 4.05 Megawatt Community Shared Solar Photovoltaic Electric Generating facility located on municipally-owned property at 1240 Poquonnock Road, Groton, Connecticut. 

PETITION NO. 1220 -Windham Solar LLC petition for a declaratory ruling that no Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need is required for the proposed construction, maintenance and operation of three 2.0 Megawatt and one 1.0 Megawatt Solar Photovoltaic Electric Generating facilities located at 1219 and 1240 Voluntown Road, Griswold, Connecticut.

PETITION NO. 1222 - Windham Solar LLC petition for a declaratory ruling that no Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need is required for the proposed construction, maintenance and operation of three 2.0 Megawatt and four 1.0 Megawatt Solar Photovoltaic Electric Generating facilities located southeast of Hartford Turnpike and south of Fisk Road, Hampton, Connecticut.

PETITION NO. 1312 - Candlewood Solar LLC petition for a declaratory ruling that no Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need is required for the proposed construction, maintenance and operation of a 20 megawatt AC (26.5 megawatt DC) solar photovoltaic electric generating facility located on a 163 acre parcel at 197 Candlewood Mountain Road and associated electrical interconnection to Eversource Energy’s Rocky River Substation on Kent Road in New Milford, Connecticut.

PETITION NO. 1313 – DWW Solar II, LLC petition for a declaratory ruling that no Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need is required for the proposed construction, maintenance and operation of a 26.4 megawatt AC solar photovoltaic electric generating facility on approximately 289 acres comprised of 5 separate and abutting privately-owned parcels located generally west of Hopmeadow Street (US 202/CT 10), north and south of Hoskins Road, and north and east of  County Road and associated electrical interconnection to Eversource Energy’s North Simsbury Substation west of Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury, Connecticut.

PETITION NO. 1328  – Windham Solar LLC petition for a declaratory ruling, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes §4-176 and §16-50k, for the proposed construction, maintenance and operation of one 1-megawatt (MW) and one .99-MW solar photovoltaic electric generating facilities located at 481 Mashamoquet Road, Pomfret, Connecticut.

PETITION NO. 1339 – Wallingford Renewable Energy LLC petition for a declaratory ruling, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes §4-176 and §16-50k, for the proposed construction, maintenance and operation of a 19.99 MW AC ground-mounted solar photovoltaic electric generating facility located on approximately 158 acres of 3 contiguous parcels consisting of the former Wallingford Landfill and 2 parcels owned by the Materials Innovation and Recycling Authority west of Pent Road and associated electrical interconnection to Wallingford Electric Division’s Wallingford Substation in Wallingford,
