Danbury Stateís Attorney, Chief Stateís Attorney Meet With Governorís Chief of Staff Regarding Sandy Hook Investigation

On Tuesday morning the Governorís Chief of Staff met with Stephen J. Sedensky III, the Stateís Attorney for the Judicial District of Danbury, and Chief Stateís Attorney Kevin T. Kane.

The Sandy Hook investigation is progressing and involves both state and federal law enforcement agencies. The Stateís Attorney expects to issue his report in the fall. The scale of the investigation is such that even a fall release of the Stateís Attorneyís report is well within what would be expected from this type of investigation.

The victimsí families have been a priority throughout the investigation and are spoken with regularly by the State Police and the Stateís Attorney and will continue to be.
