As a parent, you can help with the process by providing him or her with opportunities to practice and prepare well in advance. Help your son or daughter write resumes and cover letters that showcase his or her abilities and strengths. If you practice interviewing and discussing their disability at home, they'll be less nervous when they get to the interview.
