Model Employers



Employers who welcome individuals with disabilities to apply for jobs at their workplace may participate with Connect-Ability to bring themselves together with the talent pool of people with disabilities. To get involved, the employer must sign a pledge certifying a commitment to further the employment of people with disabilities. Employers may choose between placing the Connect-Ability logo on their website and/or linking their company to the Connect-Ability website.

To get involved, the employer must sign the following pledge certifying a commitment to further the employment of people with disabilities:

I certify that my company commits to the following best employment practices to further the employment of people with disabilities:

A commitment to employ individuals with disabilities;

A commitment to creating a corporate environment that is disability friendly;

A commitment to a recruiting and hiring process that encourages people with disabilities to apply for posted positions.
