Decision – Under Review

 

 

On April 30, 2013, Oxford Health Plans filed a request to raise premium rates an average of 1.7 percent for large employer group medical policies for employers with 51 or more workers.

 

The company said it is seeking the change to account for demographic rate changes and the impact of new taxes and fees mandated by the federal health care reform law.

 

If approved the new rates would take effect August 1, 2013 for 2,240 policies in Connecticut that provide health coverage for about 5,000 employees and their dependents.
