Naugatuck Valley Community College open house
  Naugatuck Valley Community College will host an open house for its Fire Technology & Administration program on Sunday April 27th from 1-4pm.

Nearly Two-Thirds of Home Fire Deaths Resulted from Fires in Properties Without Working Smoke Alarms
  Three out of five home fire deaths in 2007-2011 resulted from fires in properties without working smoke alarms, according to the report “Smoke Alarms in U.S. Home Fires,” released by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Blue Mass - Save the Date

  The Connecticut Fire Academy in association with the National Fire Academy and TRADE Region 1 present a six day course, Command and Control of Incident Operations. The class dates are Monday September 8, through Saturday September 13, 2014.

Campus Fire Safety Video Documentary
  The Michael H. Minger Foundation has produced the video documentary 9 Fires. 9 Fires tells of the impact of nine campus-related fires that happened within three weeks in January and February of 2012. Governor Dannel P. Malloy proclaims September 2013 as Campus Fire Safety Month.
