At their October meeting the State Bond Commission released $4,108,932 in funding for renovations and expansion of the New Haven Regional Fire School. These funds will be used to award a construction contract based on bids received May 29, 2009. This project consists of a new burn building, vehicle/equipment storage garage and various training props and site improvements. Renovations to the existing administration building include HVAC, fire alarm and ADA improvements.
