CCT: Connecticut Artists Collection

Connecticut Artists Collection

The Connecticut Artists Collection, part of the Art in Public Spaces program, was established to acquire and exhibit artwork by major and distinguished Connecticut artists and to preserve the works for future generations. Artwork in the collection can be seen in State government facilities, including the State Capitol, Legislative Office Building, community colleges, and at the Office of the Arts headquarters at One Constitution Plaza in Hartford.

An appointed committee of visual arts professionals seeks nominations of artists from curators, museum directors, and others, and recommends works for purchase. Any Connecticut artist whose work is registered with NEFA's CreativeGround is also eligible for review for inclusion in the Connecticut Artists Collection.
