CCT: Torrington



Description:  Nestled in the Litchfield Hills on the banks of the Naugatuck River, Torrington is one of the best preserved small industrial cities in the state. It has a vibrant downtown that boasts the largest number of Art- Deco buildings in Connecticut. The downtown was made a National Historic District in 1988. Today the city is a center for the arts and tourism.
