Historic Restoration Fund Grant Workshop - January 25, 2011
Hartford, Conn. (January 14, 2011) - Looking for assistance with a rehabilitation project? Applications to the Historic Restoration Fund Grant Program for the rehabilitation, restoration or stabilization of historic buildings and structures will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on April 1, 2011.
Properties on the National or State Register of Historic Places, which are owned by municipalities or 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organizations, are eligible for these 50% matching grants-in-aid. See details of this program under "Funding Opportunities" on CCT’s website ( www.cultureandtourism.org). Grants range from $10,000 to $200,000 and are funded through Connecticut’s Community Investment Act. The deadline for the submission of applications is 4:00 p.m. on April 1, 2011.
All those applying or considering applying are strongly encouraged to attend the workshop for potential applicants which will be held on January 25, 2011, from 10 a.m. to noon in room 310 of the State Capitol Building. Reservations are required, as space is limited. Please call Jennifer Haag at 860-256-2765 to make reservations.
