Commission On Culture & Tourism Announces
"Matters of Pattern" Gallery Exhibit
HARTFORD, Conn. (December 21, 2009) – The Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism will present "Matters of Pattern" exhibit from January 8 through March 5, 2010. The opening event will take place on February 4, 2010, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
The "Matters of Pattern" exhibit features the work of artists who have been awarded grants from the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism’s Artists Fellowship Program. Exhibiting artists were selected for their intentional and unintentional application and documentation of pattern. Some artists have executed work employing the use of pattern through computer programs and textile, while others have captured patterns through photography and other means.

The Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism’s Gallery is dedicated to promoting cultural enrichment and visual understanding of the Commission and its constituent organizations. The gallery features changing exhibitions that support the mission of CCT and directly relate to programs within the agency. The CCT Gallery is located at One Constitution Plaza, 2nd Floor, Hartford, and is open to the public Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed state holidays and between exhibitions.
