DAS/BEST provides secure virtual private network (VPN) access to more than 2,6O0 state agency customers throughout the state. Remote connectivity methods include dial-up, ISDN, DSL, cable and wireless. Please visit the IT Security VPN Website for additional information including Key FOB pick up hours, etc.

Security on any computer system is a high priority, especially when the system involves multiple users. Sharing of your State of CT access credentials and VPN tokens with anyone is prohibited.
 
How to Request VPN Access
VPN liaisons for each agency may only request VPN access services using our Footprints Service. They can also utilize the Footprints service for assistance, including additions, removals, and changes.
 
For Windows users
 
Client can be downloaded from the browser using your assigned connection profile

To download the CISCO VPN Client Software for WinXP, WinVista, Win7 and Win8 (supports both 32-bit & 64-bit):
 

For MAC and Linux users
 
Client can be downloaded and installed from the browser using your assigned connection profile.
 

For Mobile VPN users
 
IOS: The CISCO Anyconnect client can be downloaded from the APPLE APP store.
 
Android: The CISCO Anyconnect client can be downloaded from the Google PLAY STORE.
