Dear Madam Secretary:

        Pursuant to Sections 3-1 and 28-9 of the Connecticut General Statutes, I proclaimed a state of civil preparedness emergency due to the commencement of Operation Liberty Shield.

        In accordance with Section 28-9 of the Connecticut General Statutes, I hereby proclaim the end of the civil preparedness emergency. I am simultaneously filing an Executive Order to revoke Executive Order 28, which modified certain sections of the Connecticut General Statutes that were inconsistent with the efficient and expeditious execution of the civil preparedness functions.
