Governor M. Jodi Rell today directed three administration officials to send her a definitive recommendation on the continued use of the state office building at 25 Sigourney Street in Hartford. Governor Rell gave the panel until January 15, 2006, to send her an up-or-down recommendation on continued use of the building, which contains offices for 1,200 state employees. The state has spent some $7.5 million to make improvements to the building and to remediate problems such as water intrusion and mold.
