  The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) today lifted an advisory against swimming or fishing in the Salmon River - from its confluence with the Jeremy River downstream to the Rt. 16 crossing in East Hampton - that had been posted earlier this week following a raw sewage spill from a sewer main break.
