Contacting and Visiting the Connecticut Department of Agriculture
The Connecticut Department of Agriculture is located in the State Office Building at 165 Capitol Avenue in Hartford. The agency's regulatory (including commodities and seed and fertilizer), licensing, farmland preservation, and animal control divisions can be found in room G8A. The Commissioner's office is in room G29, and the marketing division is in room 129. When sending a letter to the agency, please reference the appropriate room number or division in the address for faster delivery.
Parking is limited to the street parking unless agency personnel makes visitor accommodations in the adjacent parking lot typically limited to state employees. Directions to the agency are available.
