Non-Driver Photo Identification Cards

SERVICE UPDATE (2/26/15):  DMV's Wethersfield Branch Office remains open on Thursday (February 26) on a limited basis for customers with appointments for knowledge and road tests. The office will open for regular business on Friday (February 27).

DMV's Enfield and New Britain offices will open the remainder of this week for license and registration services.  The two offices had been slated to be closed for employee computer training.  There will be no knowledge or road skills testing in Enfield or New Britain.

The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) issues a Non-Driver Photo Identification Card (ID) to any applicant who does not possess a valid motor vehicle driver's license or whose license is presently under suspension.
