DMV: Arrest Summary

ARREST SUMMARY - May, June, July 2016
 

Motor Vehicle Inspectors made the following arrests.  The case status may be found on the CT Judicial Website.  (WPTA is a written promise to appear) General law enforcement activity related to commercial motor vehicles may be found in the Weigh Station reports.

 

July 28, 2016 Inspectors again arrested Frank Hewitt, 47, of Montville for 2 counts of larceny 3rd, 2 counts of failing to provide a motor vehicle title and 4 counts of failing to perform vehicle safety inspections at Johnnyís Auto Sales in New London.  Hewitt was arrested by warrant, processed, and held on a $3,500 cash-only bond.

 

July 27, 2016 Inspectors arrested Victoria Irizarry, 28, of East Hartford for operating with a suspended driverís license on I-84 in Manchester.  She was released on a $250 non-surety bond.

 

July 21, 2016 Inspectors arrested Jalen Davis, 37, of New Jersey for operating with a suspended license and failing to have a log book at the Union Weigh Station. He was released on a WPTA.

 

July 22, 2016 Inspectors arrested Angelo Palacios, 62, of West Hartford for operating an unlicensed auto repair shop in Hartford.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

July 15, 2016 Inspectors arrested Chanrithy Mok, 28, of Seymour for operating an unlicensed auto repair shop, New York Discount Muffler, in New Britain.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

July 15, 2016 Inspectors arrested Paul Ciarcia, 43, of Kensington for operating an unlicensed auto repair shop, Paulís Automotive, in New Britain.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

June 21, 2016 Inspectors arrested Nathanial Sessions, 46, of West Haven for criminal impersonation, interfering with an Inspector, possession of a counterfeit license, operating a commercial motor vehicle without a commercial license and possession of drugs. Sessions was arrested by warrant following a traffic stop that occurred on April 21st, in which Sessions impersonated his cousin.  Sessions was processed and held on a $10,000 court set bond.

 

June 9, 2016 Inspectors arrested Alice DaSilva, 26, of Danbury on 16 counts of forgery 2nd degree.  DaSilva was arrested by warrant after Inspectors received complaints that she submitted fraudulent registration and title applications to the Danbury DMV over a period of several months.  DaSilva was processed and released with a court date of June 30, 2016.

 

June 6, 2016 Inspectors arrested Adronne Knight, 36, for operating an unlicensed auto repair shop and an unlicensed junkyard in Hartford. He was released on a WPTA.

 

June 2, 2016 Inspectors arrested Alexander Bozenhard, 23, of Old Lyme for operating with a suspended license and failure to drive in proper lane on I-95 in Waterford.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

May 31, 2016 Inspectors arrested Theresa Tracy, 54, of Vernon for misuse of registration, operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle in East Hartford.  She was released on a WPTA.

 

May 31, 2016 Inspectors arrested Rebecca Maldonado, 21, of Hartford for driving with a suspended license, unsafe lane change and failing to carry a valid insurance card on I-91 in Hartford.  She was released on a WPTA.

 

May 27, 2016 Inspectors arrested Benny Dunerge, 43, of New London for operating an unlicensed auto repair shop and operating an unregistered motor vehicle with no insurance in New London.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

May 25, 2016 Inspectors arrested Evron Montaque, 24, of Hartford for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of registration and no insurance on I-91 in Hartford.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

May 16, 2016 Inspectors arrested David Quintin, 28, of Groton for operating a commercial motor vehicle with a suspended license and using a cell phone while driving on I-95 in Old Lyme.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

May 12, 2016 Inspectors arrested Rogello Carmona, 27, of Meriden for operating with a suspended license and using a cell phone while driving on I-91 in Wallingford. He was released on a WPTA.

 

May 12, 2016 Inspectors arrested Wilfredo Dejesus, 29, of Hartford, for operating with a suspended driverís license in Wethersfield.  He was released on a WPTA.

 

May 12, 2016 Inspectors arrested Frank Hewitt, 47, of Montville for larceny 3rd and failing to provide a title upon sale of a motor vehicle. Hewitt was arrested by warrant after Inspectors received complaints against Johnnyís Auto Sales in New London. Hewitt was processed and held on a $5,000 bond. This investigation is on-going.
