  The Norwalk DMV office's walk-in and wait-in-line system for obtaining teen and adult learner’s permits will be replaced Tuesday with a streamlined customer appointment service for the office. This will accompany a separate testing section within the office as both improvements respond to a demand for this service in Fairfield County.

  “I’ll Save You, Will You Save Me?” This theme underlines a new campaign to mark April as Organ and Tissue Donation month. The effort aims to increase awareness registering as a donor with a simple change on a driver's license, state ID card, or by going online.

Teen Safe Driving: Are You In? - DMV Announces Winners of Annual High School Video Contest
  The top ranking winners in the DMV annual teen safe driving contest were announced April 2 with Willimantic's Arts at the Capitol Theater taking first place. It also achieved the distinction of being the only school to rank in the top 10 for five consecutive years the contest has run.
