The Blue Ribbon Commission on Housing and Economic Development was created by the Connecticut General Assembly in 2007 to study the housing affordability needs of the state, with particular emphasis of such needs on economic growth and development. Commission members represent broad areas of expertise including chief elected officials, housing advocates, economic development, private developers and finance professionals.
